Need some new music recommendationa

Anyone recommend me some new music to get into? Need to find some new stuff.
Some of my favourite contemporary bands include The National, Future Islands, Wolf Alice, Cigarettes After Sex, The War on Drugs.... So indie/alternative rock, dream pop, that kind of stuff. But pretty open to different genres.

no idea on any new bands, but a youtube channel worth checking out is 'frog leap studios' which is run by norwegian musician leo marrachioli. some of his metal cover versions of various hits of almost every genre are brilliant

I'm currently enjoying new albums from Yo la tengo, Buffalo Tom, Mapache and Last of the Easy riders. The last 2 of these are new bands with a 'laid back west coast sound'.

The best dream pop band for me currently is Beach House - their new album is out in a few days but listen to Teen Dream by them in the mean time.

What on earth is dream pop? Did you just make that up? I'm still listening to Polar Similar by Norma Jean a lot, but it might not be your thing. Bit like Deftones only a bit heavier.
Other than that, Legend of the Seagullmen is good and the Don Broco album is alright.

I might be going to see Norma Jean when they play in London with Protest the Hero.
Dream pop is floaty pop music with some psychedelia and shoegaze. Have a listen to Beach House, WP.

Major Parkinson - probably not quite up your alley but unique which is a rare thing now.
